Roderick Barrett
Roderick is the Managing Partner of Stikeman Elliott’s Toronto office, a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Partnership Board and the Toronto Management Committee, and a senior partner in the firm’s Corporate Law Group. He practices business law with an emphasis on debt and equity financings for both issuers and lender/investors, private mergers and acquisitions, and banking and insolvency. Additionally, Mr. Barrett advises a broad range of corporations and their boards of directors. Mr. Barrett is recognized by LEXPERT, the Canadian legal directory, as a leading practitioner in the areas of Banking & Financial Services, Corporate Commercial, Corporate Finance & Securities and Technology Law. He also appears in Euromoney’s A Guide to the World’s Leading Banking Lawyers and as a “leading individual” in the banking and finance practice area in Chambers & Partners’ The World’s Leading Lawyers in 2003 and 2004.
