Since 2006 Recovery Partners has identified and valued over USD 3.0 Billion of off-strategy financial assets. Our key area of focus is senior secured commercial loans. These loans are typically non-public and require local knowledge and credit adjudication expertise to evaluate. Our approach is co-operative, flexible and emphasizes structured solutions to meet vendor requirements.
Investment Parameters
Investment Preference: Distressed or “non core” senior secured debt obligations in the form of:
- bilateral loans
- single lender's participation in syndicated credits
- entire lending syndicates
- portfolios of multiple credits
Company/Industry Preference: Mid to large companies with revenues in excess of $10 MM
- companies with underlying tangible assets that can be preserved
- typically unrated, private companies with limited liquidity
- companies with operations substantially in Canada and the United States
Preferred Deal Size: minimum debt commitments of $2 million (no maximum)
